From June through October, beautifully planted flowerpots will line the sidewalks all around downtown Elkhorn, Wisconsin, brightening the community and welcoming neighbors and visitors alike. The flowers are supplied and planted by Elkhorn High School students, and watering is handled by VIP (formerly Seeds of Hope), a horticultural and recreational community that creates meaningful growth opportunities for adults with developmental and other disabilities.

Now in its fifth year, the Niles Township Fun Run is a colorful 5K community event that brings together families, neighbors, local businesses, and organizations for a morning of fun and purpose. More than 40% of the households served by the Food Pantry have children enrolled in Niles Township schools, and funds raised go directly toward purchasing school supplies so students have what they need to succeed.1
Join the fun on Saturday, June 6, 2026 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. The event features face painting, a balloon artist, Kona Ice, the Soul Good Coffee Truck and Treats, a Touch-a-Truck experience, and tables from local community organizations. This year's goal is to raise $25,000 for neighbors in need.
