Here's a look at Advia's latest well-deserved promotions and new hires:

Ann-Marie

Brad Angel

Brad Angel, Branch Manager at Advia Credit Union’s West Main branch, brings a strong track record of performance and member-focused service to his role. He previously served as a Financial Solutions Specialist and holds a bachelor’s degree from Western Michigan University. In 2025, Angel was recognized as Advia’s Top Lender and received the MVP Award for his outstanding contributions to serving membership needs. As Branch Manager, he oversees daily operations while focusing on member engagement, growth, and team development. Angel is passionate about supporting his team’s success and ensuring members are connected to the full range of Advia’s products and services. He looks forward to building on the branch’s momentum and continuing to make a positive impact in the community. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and family, exploring Lake Michigan, and volunteering with local organizations throughout Southwest Michigan.

Liz Sanchez

Hannah Buffin

Hannah Buffin, Member Contact Service Assistant Manager at Advia Credit Union, brings a strong background in leadership and team development to her role at the Oshtemo location. She previously served as Southwest Michigan Merchandising Manager at Imperial Beverage, where her team was recognized as one of the highest performing in the region. Buffin holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from Davenport University and has continued to invest in her professional growth through leadership development and industry training. In her role, she supports daily operations, team performance, training, and ongoing development, while partnering closely with leadership to ensure team success. She is focused on understanding her team’s strengths, identifying opportunities for improvement, and building efficient, effective processes that enhance both employee and member experiences. Outside of work, Buffin enjoys reading, staying active, and spending time outdoors with her partner Jared and their dog Gus. She is also passionate about giving back, with volunteer involvement supporting cancer research initiatives, food shelters, and organizations assisting individuals in need.

Hunter

Abby Meddaugh

Abby Meddaugh, Assistant Manager of Card Services at Advia Credit Union, is based at the Port Huron branch and has been with the organization since 2018. She began her career in branch operations before transitioning to Card Services, where she advanced from Card Support Specialist to Chargeback Specialist. Throughout her career, she has built expertise in card operations, dispute processing, fraud prevention, and regulatory compliance. In her role as Assistant Manager of Card Services, Meddaugh supports the department’s daily operations, helping oversee card programs, dispute and chargeback processes, and compliance initiatives while enhancing the member experience. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Ferris State University. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, traveling, tackling home projects, volunteering with Friends of the St. Clair River, and spending time with family and friends. She and her husband are excited to welcome their first daughter very soon.

Gabriel Wohlt

Jeremy Nealis

Jeremy Nealis, Assistant Branch Manager at Advia Credit Union, is based at the Port Huron branch and brings seven years of experience in the credit union and financial services industry. He has a background in teller operations, loan processing, branch management, and most recently, serving as a Loan Partner in the mortgage industry. Nealis holds a bachelor's degree in business management from Northwood University. As Assistant Branch Manager, Nealis is focused on coaching and developing his team to deliver exceptional member service while helping members achieve their financial goals. He is committed to building a collaborative, high-performing team culture through ongoing training, clear communication, and employee development. He also looks forward to actively promoting Advia within the community through educational initiatives, volunteer opportunities, and events that strengthen relationships and increase awareness of Advia’s mission. Outside of work, Nealis enjoys going to the gym, spending time with his wife and new daughter, and occasionally unwinding with video games.

Rachel Colyer

Marla Pettis

Marla Pettis, Branch Manager at Advia Credit Union, leads the new Kenosha branch and brings a strong background in relationship building, lending, and member service. Previously serving as a Financial Solutions Specialist, Pettis has established herself as a top-performing lender, generating more than $1 million in loans while helping members achieve their financial goals. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Sociology and is a licensed Mortgage Loan Originator. As Branch Manager, Pettis is focused on driving branch growth by building community trust, developing future leaders, and creating a collaborative culture that strengthens member relationships. She is committed to positioning the Kenosha branch as a trusted community partner while delivering exceptional service and supporting both members and team success. Outside of work, Pettis enjoys spending time with her family and roller skating. She is an active volunteer with Bernie’s Book Bank, Habitat for Humanity, and Brushwood Center at Ryerson Woods. As a proud mother to her son, Messiah, she is motivated each day to lead with purpose, resilience, and a strong commitment to her community.
