Battle Creek, MI — For years, Advia Credit Union has partnered with Battle Creek Habitat for Humanity with a shared belief that everyone deserves a safe and stable place to call home. Advia is committed to advancing lives in the communities it serves, and reducing housing insecurity is a key pillar in Advia’s social mission-related efforts addressed locally. In the Battle Creek area, Advia continues to address this through volunteerism, sponsorships, and charitable giving.
In addition to recently announcing the sponsorship of a full house build in conjunction with the Battle Creek Area Habitat for Humanity, Advia has historically supported the organization’s building projects related to supporting women and veterans.
Construction of the new home is expected to begin in the spring and be completed in 2026 with additional support from Advia team members volunteering on site throughout the entire building process.
“A stable home is the foundation for financial security, opportunity, and long-term stability. This belief is central to Advia’s community impact work and mission to provide financial advantages.” said Jeff Fielder, President & CEO of Advia Credit Union. “We’re excited about the impact this will have on a family today and for generations to come.”
“Here at Habitat, we are reminded daily of the need for affordable, safe, and decent housing,” said Mike King, Executive Director of Battle Creek Area Habitat for Humanity. “With this commitment of funds and volunteers, Advia is making a statement to the Southwest Michigan area that they care about housing needs and are willing to work toward meeting those needs. We are so grateful for Advia’s involvement.”
By investing both financially and through hands-on volunteer support, Advia aims to support Habitat for Humanity's mission and help expand affordable housing opportunities across the greater Battle Creek area.
