In the event that your vehicle is stolen and not recovered, or totaled in an accident, GAP coverage helps to cover the difference between the Actual Cash Value (ACV) of your vehicle and the unpaid balance that is owed to the Credit Union. This ACV is determined by your primary insurance company.

A Bonus for Automobiles

Deductible Assistance (DA) can help reimburse the comprehensive or collision deductible if a vehicle is damaged, but not deemed a total loss. If the repairs cost more than the deductible, the deductible amount is refunded to the member. DA is included in our GAP policy and can help cover up to $1,000 of the deductible. The vehicle must have an Advia GAP policy covering terms up to 84 months and cannot be used for more than two claims within a 12-month period.

Report the claim within 90 days

Step 2: Claim Form

Complete a Claim Submission Form. Log into your account at www.cunamutual.com, click on My Services and then select GAP Notice of Loss.
