Advancing Lives Grant Application

Welcome! Thank you for your interest in the Advancing Lives Grant, powered by Advia Foundation. This application is for nonprofit organizations seeking funding to advance financial wellness, and to address food, housing, or transportation insecurity in our service regions.

Eligibility Highlights:

  • Applicants must be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit
  • Projects must serve communities in Southwest Michigan (SWM), Eastern Michigan (EM), Illinois (IL), or Wisconsin (WI).
  • Grant requests may be up to $50,000
  • Only one grant may be awarded per organization or individual per calendar year.

Application Tips:

  • Please complete all required fields and upload all requested documents.
  • Be specific about the number of people or families your project will impact, and include a breakdown of cost per person/family if applicable.
  • Clearly describe how your program aligns with Advia’s social pillars: food insecurity, housing insecurity, transportation insecurity, and/or financial wellness/empowerment.
  • If you are a previous Advancing Lives Grant recipient, please indicate the date of your last award.

Deadlines: Applications are reviewed quarterly.
Submission deadlines are: February 1, May 1, August 1, and November 1.
