How to transfer a credit card balance to another card.

The credit card balance transfer process is simple. You'll just need the other bank's name, address, account number, and the amount you want to transfer. Then follow these steps:

To transfer a balance to your Advia Visa® Credit Card, you'll need the other financial institution’s name, address, account number (for credit cards, this is typically the full 16‑digit card number), and the amount you want to transfer. A balance transfer fee of either $10 or 3% of the amount transferred, whichever is greater, will be assessed for each balance transfer processed on that account. Late payments or other account violations may result in the loss of the intro APR. If account is delinquent or over-limit at time of transfer, the intro rate will not apply.
