Up to two (2) borrowers listed as Borrower or Co-Borrower on a loan may be protected in the case of a qualified life event that includes Debt Protection. Co-Signers, Guarantors, and Non-Borrower owners of collateral are not eligible. At the time the contract was signed, the borrower(s) must have been actively working for wages or profit for 24 hours or more per week. Depending on the plan selected, Debt Protection may cancel your loan balance or loan payments in the event of death, disability, involuntary unemployment, and more.

Your purchase of Debt Protection with Death Benefit is optional and will not affect your application for credit or the terms of any credit agreement required to obtain a loan. Certain eligibility requirements, conditions, and exclusions may apply. Please contact your loan representative, or refer to the Member Agreement for a full explanation of the terms of Debt Protection. You may cancel the protection at any time. If you cancel protection within 30 days you will receive a full refund of any fee paid.
