Advantage Referral FAQs.
If it's been more than forty-five (45) days since your friend or family met one or more of our Advantage Plus Reward qualifications, and you haven't received your referral incentive, please contact us at 844.238.4228 or by email at contact-advia@adviacu.org so we may help resolve this for you.
Your referral incentive will be placed into your Primary Share Savings account within forty-five (45) days of when your referred friend or family member qualifies for our Advantage Plus Rewards within their first three (3) months of membership ( see program page for current details).
If the friend or family member you referred qualifies for Advantage Plus Rewards within three (3) months of their new account, you'll both qualify for the incentive. You'll see a deposit of up to $200 into your Primary Share Savings within forty-five (45) days of qualifications being met.
Yes, you can refer friends and family on Facebook and Twitter. Visit our Advantage Referral page and complete your information requested (name, phone, and email). Please make sure that this information matches what's on our member account systems. Then, click on the “Submit” button – you'll then see links to share on your Facebook or Twitter account.
Your friend will want to let us know that you referred them. We will be able to look up their email address to provide their referral certificate code; in some cases, we may ask you to submit another referral certificate to them (if they cannot locate their original referral certificate or did not redeem the certificate from a social media post).
We take member identity and data security seriously. On our Advantage Referral program email links or online pages, we will ONLY ask for the following information: Name, Email Address, and Phone Number. We will NEVER contact you to ask for personal information such as social security number, driver's license number, account number, or other personal financial data.
If you know your friend or family member's email address and indicate that on our Advantage Referral page, they'll receive an email from Advia inviting them to open a new account with Advia (and letting them know that you referred them to do so). Then they can simply click on the referral redemption link to get started.
For security purposes, we recommend you tell your friends that you've referred them. Your friend should confirm that the email they receive is coming from Advia Credit Union at no-reply@ourreferralengine.com on behalf of marketing@adviacu.org. If they prefer not to click on the link in the email, they may come to any Advia branch location, or call us at 844.238.4228 during normal business hours and we'll provide them their referral code (must be tied to an email address already provided).
You can refer as many friends and family as you like! You can visit our Advantage Referral page as often as you'd like to add more friends and family to refer. Or simply share via your social feed on Facebook or Twitter – that way, other contacts you know may see your referral mention as well.
- Referring member and those they refer who open a new member account relationship with Advia Credit Union (not previously a member of Advia Credit Union) and follow instructions provided within this referral program to indicate qualifying new member referral will each earn stated payout(s) when new member opens and maintains one or more of the following qualifying Advantage Relationship(s) stated within ninety (90) days of new account opening: (1) $50 when the new member reaches Advantage Plus Rewards status. See adviacu.org/aplus for qualifications; and/or (2) $50 when the new member accrues new aggregate deposits held of $10,000 or more; and/or (3) $100 when the new member obtains aggregate Personal Loans of $5,000 or more (combined outstanding balances held in Auto/RV Loan or Signature Loan). Bonus Payouts: Referral bonus payout(s) will be paid in one sum via deposit into the Primary Savings of both referring (current) and qualifying new (referred) member who meet stated criteria no more than forty-five (45 days) following first three (3) months of membership. In order for new member or referring existing member to receive bonus, their member account must be in good standing with no delinquent loan balance, current or previously charged off account with Advia, negative share balance, or other indicator of an account not in good standing at time of payment. Bonus may be reported to IRS and any applicable taxes are the responsibility of the recipients. General Conditions of Offer: This offer is not valid in the state of Wisconsin. This offer may not be used in combination with other promotional offers. Individuals may not refer themselves for referral incentive. Referred individual must qualify for membership based on Advia Credit Union’s field of membership criteria.
- Annual Percentage Yield to be paid on balances held in Regular and Assurance Checking when account activity meets qualifications as Advantage Plus $500 up to $5,000. Balances above $5,000 will earn our non-promotional stated rate with no maximum balance applicable. Dividend rate premium not eligible on balances held in Money Market Checking. Members may hold multiple Checking shares, however promotional rate will be paid on first Regular or Assurance Checking share ID only. See adviacu.org/aplus for Advantage Plus qualifications.
- Advantage Plus Personal Loan rate reduction = 0.75% Annual Percentage Rate on personal loans only for the life of the loan; additional 0.25% APR discount if automatic monthly payments elected prior to first scheduled payment. Combined discounts may not go below floor rate at time of loan; offer excludes Home Equity Loans and Lines of Credit, Business/Commercial Loans, Mortgages, and Visa® Credit Cards.
- Advantage Plus CD Rate Premium = 0.25% APY on new CDs (excluding promotional and EZ Saver CDs); will be applied for the full term of the CD held. Early CD withdrawal penalties may apply.
