Advia Credit Union is pleased to announce various internal promotions and new hires within the organization. These updates demonstrate the credit union’s commitment to nurturing talent, recognizing accomplishments, and solidifying its reputation as a dependable financial partner.
Here’s a rundown of Advia’s latest well-deserved promotions and new hires:
Jake Schreiber
Jake had been promoted to Regional Manager in Advia’s Wisconsin and Illinois markets. In his previous role, Jake was an Area Sales Manager. Jake said he is excited to further lead the WI and IL markets and expand membership base. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin - Oshkosh.
Taylor Bird
Taylor recently joined Advia as the Manager of Marketing. She brings with her over 15 years of experience in marketing and sales. She holds a bachelor’s degree in organizational communication with a minor in marketing and event management from Western Michigan University. In her new role, Taylor is focused on developing and implementing marketing strategies aligned with Advia's short and long-term goals.
Cholyong Kim
Cholyong (C.K.) joined Advia this year as the Manager of Internal Audit in the Southgate region. C.K. brings with him over 20 years of experience in the financial industry and holds his Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the State of Michigan. In addition, he holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and political science from the University of Michigan and two master’s degrees from Eastern Michigan University – A Master of Business (MBA) in business administration and management as well as a Master of Science (MSA) in accounting, specifically focused on taxation and audit. In his role at Advia, C.K. supervises and maintains all audit functions and works closely with senior leadership while serving as a liaison to the board of directors.
Brooke Christensen
Also new to Advia this year, Brooke has joined as the Manager of Payment Operations. Brooke brings with her over 15 years of experience in the financial industry and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in management from Siena Heights University. She has also worked for Advia in the past and is happy to be back! In her position, Brooke is responsible for payment functions.
Ben Bojanich
Ben, who has been with Advia since 2012, has recently been promoted to Assistant Manager of Collections. Previously serving as Advia’s Repossession Specialist, Ben now plays a vital role in overseeing the daily operations of the Collections department. His responsibilities include setting and achieving departmental goals, enhancing communication between management and staff, and maintaining exceptional customer service standards while safeguarding the credit union.
