Advia Credit Union Helps Celebrate Gage Marine's 150th Anniversary with Donations to Various Community Organizations

11/2023

In celebration of Gage Marine’s 150th Anniversary, Advia Credit Union is delighted to announce a donation of $500 to each of the 15 organizations that Gage Marine also supported in 2023 as part of their milestone celebration.

The donations from Advia follow Gage Marine’s generous $10,000 donation to each organization totaling $150,000.

Advia’s gesture serves as a tribute to Gage Marine's spirit of giving and ensures the continuation of their legacy. Advia's decision to donate was also driven by their own shared commitment to the community, aligning with Gage Marine's values.

In addition, Advia had the privilege of presenting a commemorative plaque to Gage Marine during a special ceremony recently held in recognition of their remarkable achievements. This plaque stands as a token of Advia's deep appreciation for Gage Marine's significant contributions to the community and their unwavering dedication to excellence within the marine industry.

“We are honored that Advia is making this donation on behalf of our 150th Anniversary,” said Bill Gage, third-generation owner of Gage Marine Corporation. “I couldn’t have asked for a more positive reaction to our $150,000 community donation than other businesses also giving, creating a ripple effect that continues to grow support for our community.”

Christine Erdman, Advia’s Treasury Management Officer, expressed her enthusiasm for this partnership and the charitable donations, saying, "Gage Marine's 150 years of service to our community is truly inspiring. We are thrilled to be a part of their celebration and to also give back to the organizations that have benefited from their generosity. At Advia, we are committed to advancing lives within our communities, and this partnership exemplifies that commitment."

Echoing Erdman’s comments, Kris Baxter, Advia’s Manager of Commercial Treasury Management, added: “Advia truly believes in making a difference where it matters most, and these contributions align perfectly with our commitment to addressing essential issues that align with our own social pillars, including food and housing insecurity, in the communities we serve. We are proud to stand by Gage Marine as partners.”

This collaboration between Advia and Gage Marine represents the unity and shared values of two organizations dedicated to making a positive impact within the communities they serve.
