Third-Round stimulus payment update.

Internal Revenue Service and the Treasury Department are now delivering a third-round of Economic Impact Payments as part of the American Rescue Plan Act.

There is no action required by eligible individuals to receive this payment. The IRS reminds taxpayers that the payments are automatic, and they should not contact their financial institutions or the IRS with payment timing questions. Payments anticipated by Direct Deposit will be available no earlier than March 17, 2021. Paper check, and in some cases debit card, mailings will begin on or around March 15.

As with previous stimulus payments, most recipients will receive these payments by direct deposit. For Social Security and other beneficiaries who received prior payments via Direct Express, they will receive this payment the same way.

In addition, effective March 15, check the status of your anticipated third payment by using the Get My Payment tool on the IRS website.

The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act allocated billions of dollars in aid to help small businesses during this pandemic and economic downturn. Known as the Paycheck Protection Program, federally guaranteed small business loans were designed to help business owners maintain or restore payroll during and following the crisis.

As of 5pm EST on February 8, 2021, we are no longer accepting applications for the Paycheck Protect Program (PPP); however, we are working to provide additional information surrounding the application process for requesting loan forgiveness. Please visit the Small Business Association Loan Forgiveness Application Assistance for Borrowers.
